Selena Gomez has been putting up several photos on Instagram that created a buzz among her fans. Could be all of this be related from the controversies she has experienced lately?
Last week, as KpopStarz noted, Gomez posted a powerful Howard Thurman quote. The quote read, There is something in every one of you that waits and listens for the sound of the genuine in yourself. It is the only true guide you will ever have. And if you cannot hear it, you will all of your life spend your days on the ends of strings that somebody else pulls."
Hollywood Life also said that Gomez also picked up some sound advice from none other than Orlando Bloom, whom her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber had picked a fight with last week over the star's ex-wife Miranda Kerr. It has been said that Bieber had beef with the actor when he was spotted by paparazzi having a sidewalk conversation with Gomez. The conversation was actually of a friendly nature, claimed a source, and said that Bloom, a practicing Buddhist, dispensed some advice to the actress with regard to the state in her life.
"In Orlando's Buddhist practice, there is a saying about turning poison into medicine and this is what he shared with Selena. To take something negative and turn it into something positive, and that's pretty much what Selena has been doing," the source said.
Gomez has been the topic of tabloid fodder lately. As the star has admitted herself in rehab and has been receiving treatment for lupus, a life-threatening autoimmune disease, she has renewed her troubled relationship with the "Baby" singer and broke up with him again this year. Despite the fact that she has been moving on by reportedly hooking up with businessman Tommy Chiabra on her 22nd birthday, her name appears to be entangled with her superstar ex as he continuously gets involved in drama after drama.
On the other hand, Gomez is eager to retain the positive vibes around her. In another Instagram snap, the singer is seen with friends promoting several charities. Empty Lighthouse observed that the move seemed to have been replicated from lovebirds Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield, who flashes messages promoting charities whenever there are paparazzi around.
