As filming for "Terminator: Genesis" is still on process, new behind-the-scene clip was revealed, Enstars reports. The clip was shot in San Francisco where the filming took place on August 4 and 5.
San Francisco Film Commission's Lauren Machado revealed details of the filming, including locations. "From 9 p.m. Monday to 4 a.m. Tuesday, crews will be filming around California Street and Powell Street downtown, using stunt cars and motorized cable cars to create chaotic city scenes," said Machado.
She also said the producers of the movie had to ask permission from the residents and business owners in the area for the filming that will begin after 10 p.m.
"They'll also film on Mission Street between First and Second streets from around 11 p.m. to the early morning. That area, unlike California and Powell, will be closed to shoot a scene in which extras flee 'something computer-generated,'" Machado shared.
The highly anticipated movie will star Arnold Schwarzenegger who will reprise his role as the iconic cyborg, T-800. This time, however, it would be different as the character is now an aging terminator, reports claim. The last "Terminator" movie Schwarzenegger starred in was "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines."
Together with Schwarzenegger are new cast members. "Terminator: Genesis" will also star Jai Courtney as Kyle Reese, Emilia Clarke as Sarah Connor, and Douglas Smith as the young John Connor. Sandrine Holt will play as Detective Cheung.
It is also reported that fitness trainer Aaron V. Williamson is set to play the younger T-800. Williamson revealed it on his social networking page, but later deleted the post.
Williamson's post read, "Thanks to an amazing team of people who help me get better each week, both physically & creatively, I'll be playing a T-800 (Terminator) in the upcoming production Terminator: Genesis. I'm extremely grateful & motivated as this new chapter begins to take shape."
"Terminator: Genesis" is scheduled to hit the theaters in July 2015.
