"Happy Wheels," the app that lets players navigate obstacle courses (often, with graphically violent results), is a bit of a cult hit. And all those cult followers of "Happy Wheels" are waiting patiently for the game to hit the App store- that way, they can drive their bikes, wheelchairs and lawnmowers through deadly obstacle courses on the go.
But the game was originally set to hit the App store last summer, and today it's still not available. Luckily, we have a few updates from Fancy Force, the makers of "Happy Wheels."
From Fancy Force's official Twitter, here's the latest on Happy Wheels' quest to the App store.
"Trust me, I know. It's depressing. We'll be posting details about it soon."
"This week or next we'll post info about Happy Wheels iOS."
But hey- at least we know that news is coming about "Happy Wheels," and we'll have new info on the iOS version in the next two weeks.
KpopStarz also speculates that the game might be releasing on Android as well as iOS- the game is popular enough that it would be well served on both platforms. On Twitter,, when asked about the possibility of a simultaneous iOS and Android launch, Fancy Force also hinted that it might be a possibility.
"Well, it's a bit early to say, but I'm guessing sooner than we originally though thanks to @apportable"
Meanwhile, the makers of "Happy Wheels" also published a recent blog post on TotalJerkFace.com, about a bug in the game, on both PC and Mac browser versions. While the bug affects the colors in the game, it seems to be based in Flash, and may not be as troublesome in app form as it is in browser form.
Check back soon for the latest info on "Happy Wheels iOS"- that info should be coming within the next two weeks.
