The persistent rumors regarding Lady Gaga and boyfriend Taylor Kinney never ends. As it is known that the two have been together for over two years, one would think that the two decided to wed without informing the public. But there is yet to have an official word coming from either of the two about their relationship status.
Meanwhile, Celeb Dirty Laundry said that Gaga was spurred into accepting Kinney's purported offer of marriage for a much deeper reason. Citing an unnamed OK! magazine source, the tabloid rag said the singer actually had a pregnancy scare.
"Taylor's been asking her to marry him for the better part of a year, but she never takes him seriously. Being presented with the possibility of becoming parents pretty much locked down Gaga for marriage," the source said.
Moreover, International Business Times said that the "Born this Way' singer was spotted shopping for wedding dresses last week with her mother. A fan went an observant fan went further when Kinney, who posed for a bathroom selfie with his ladylove and her beloved dog, was noticed to have been wearing a suspicious ring on his wedding finger in the two.
However, KPopstarz said that it is unlikely that the two would marry this summer at least, given Gaga's busy schedule, which includes performance dates for her "ArtRave" tour, collaboration with Tony Bennett, among others.
Kinney talked to E! Online about his relationship with the singer, and it seems like although the two are still together, wedding bells might not be ringing soon. He said, "It's someone who's always in your corner, that believes in you and your work, and vice versa, You know, I love what she does and her work and music and charity. She inspires so many people including myself.. When you're in a committed relationship, it's a choice what you do, Hopefully you don't take the route of mark and just run amok...I think the idea of taking vows lightly or just marriage in general is a new thing. It's in the statistics; just look at divorce rates. People used to stay unhappy until death do you part, I guess. "
