The impending marriage of engaged couple Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards is a go, according to Fashion & Style. The publication reported that the couple had been throwing little hints about their wedding, especially on Instagram. However, fans will have to wait a little longer to see evidence of the two going down the aisle as Malik would need to deal with a family problem.
Although it has been a year since the couple had been engaged, they have yet to reveal the exact date of their wedding day. Nonetheless, Edwards has reportedly asked her "Little Mix" bandmate Jane Thirlwall to draw and help her design her own wedding dress, Fashion & Style said. But that might take a backseat as Zayn's niece is battling for her life from terminal cancer.
The Daily Star cited multiple reports about Malik's cousin, four year-old Arshiya, had died of cancer. The little girl is reportedly in a coma before the news of her death after a couple of brain tumor removing operations. Ahead of Arshiya's purported passing, another cousin, 17 year-old Aaroosa, utilized Twitter and Instagram to send an SOS for prayers and for any specialist who can provide another opinion on how to treat Arshiya.
Aaroosa wrote, "Doctors have given up on Arshiya but she is still fighting brave like a soldier. Can everyone please pray for her and anyone out there with a medical background or any doctor who thinks they can help please get in touch if possible x."
An unnamed family friend told the Daily Star that Arshiya and Zayn are close, and that the singer, despite out on tour in the US, has been calling the family for updates. The source said, "Zayn loves all his family to bits but is really close to Arshiya. He has never been off the phone since she was taken into hospital and has told his family he will be at her bedside as soon as he can."
Aaroosa has since debunked the #RIPArshiya trend, tweeting on August 13 that Arshiya is still with them, but has a long way to go towards recovery.
