Rumors are once again on a rage regarding Colombian superstar singer Shakira's allegedly pregnancy for the second time with football star boyfriend Gerard Pique. Speculation about the Grammy awardee's bun in the overn started following her performance at the FIFA World Cup closing ceremony in Brazil this year.
Singer Carlos Vives, who had responded to a Televisa reporter's questions about his thoughts about Shakira's pregnancy, managed to fan the flames thanks to his comments that were taken out of context. Shakira performed the "La La La" song with Vives wearing a red striped dress that conspicuously masked her tummy, Breathecast noted, of which she is fond of flaunting before her firstborn with the Spanish football player. Milan Piqué Mebarak would be turning two on January 22 next year.
He told the reporter about Shakira's rumored pregnancy, "(If) she is pregnant, what a blessing."
In an earlier interview, Shakira has expressed her intentions to have a big family. She was quoted as saying, "If it weren't because of my music projects, I would be pregnant already. I would love to have eight or nine kids with Gerard -- my own soccer team."
The couple met four years ago when the singer-songwriter performed "Waka Waka," also for the World Cup in South Africa for a music video.
Perezhilton reported that the news about the She-Wolf's pregnancy could be true, as media outlets in her native country of Colombia had said that the singer is roughly around three months on the way already. On the other hand, no such announcement was made by couple, but fans can always hope that it's going to be too soon.
