"NCIS: Los Angeles" is entering its sixth season and as the cast is gearing up to shoot the show's next chapter, one of the last missing Special Operations members came back on set last Monday, Enstars reports.
Miguel Ferrer who plays Assistant Director Owan Granger, started filming his scenes for the series' second episode five days after most of the cast including Chris O'Donnell (Callen), Daniela Ruah (Kensi), Eric Christian Olsen (Deeks), and LL Cool J (Sam) returned to set.
The actor took to Twitter to announce that he is coming back on the set. Ferrer tweeted a photo of his trailer door suggesting he is ready to film "Inelegant Heart." The photo came with the message that reads, "He's baaaack."
Ferrer's Granger will spend the recently shot season premiere, "Deep Trouble: Part 2" taking the duties of Hetty (Linda Hunt) while the latter is absent. It is, however, unclear if the petite powerhouse will return from DC during the second episode. This could mean the untrustworthy Granger may be the one in charge of Callen's team for the mean time.
Even with Hetty's weak position, fans of the series should expect a strong premiere for the upcoming season.
In other news, Talia (Mercedes Masohn) already filmed her scenes for the Season 6 premiere. According to TV Guide, the agent might not say goodbye to Deeks and Kensi when "Deep Trouble: Part 2" ends.
Spoilers suggest that Talia could still be around for another episode. However, from what it seems, the character might not be appearing in the Episode 2, "Inelegant Heart." Filming is already underway and Masohn's name has not been heard connected to it.
Meanwhile, Executive producer John Peter Kousakis also took to Twitter to tease fans: "If you love action, laughs, suspense and little teasing romance. Mark the date 9.29.14 CBS #Mondayat10pm."
"NCIS: Los Angeles" returns to CBS on Sept. 29 at 10 p.m. ET.
