After a short break since episode 4 of Season 2 Lifetime's of "Witches of East End," Movie News Guide reported that the show took us to a year to the 70s as Freya (Jenna Dewan-Tatum) deals with the memories of her past and Dash (Eric Winter) uses magic when he is not supposed to.

Freya, unable to deal with her father's passing, brews a potion to help her deal with her sorrow. Unfortunately this also brings her back to the memories she shared with Killian (Daniel Di Tomasso, who in present time is now with his new girlfriend Eva.

Speaking of the dead, Dash is seemingly on a run from Death as he used magic to save a dying cancer patient, Dash's magic turned his hands black, but what Dash reportedly did was to lift Death from the cancer patient's to him. Because of this, Ingrid and the others help him find a way to escape Death.

As the "Witches of East End" episode continue, an enemy in the form of Mandragora has been hounding Ingrid as it feeds on its chosen mate. International Business Times hinted that the upcoming episodes of the show would definitely turn sexier and darker thanks to the creature that feeds the energy of the other during sex.

Joanna's (Julie Ormond) friend, Alex (Michelle Hurd) is the one who revealed what the Mandragora is capable of doing, after being able to kill one. Alex goes on to state that when a Mandragora finds a mate, it suffers the same fate, which puts Ingrid's life in danger.

Episode 6, which is aptly entitled "When Mandragora Loves a Woman" according to Fashion & Style, is definitely an episode that should not be missed. The show would be focusing on Frederick (Christian Cooke) and Wendy (Madchen Amick) as they to find within themselves to cooperate despite their differences in order to save Ingrid from the Mandragora.
