'Suits' Season 4 Finale recap: Louis demands for his name to be included in Pearson Specter; Mike and Rachel to make up?

By

Those who have stayed true and loyal to "Suits" since Season 1 have seen how Louis has turned from a character everyone love to hate into one that somehow has found it in his heart to recognize a mistake when he saw it coming. According to Zap2It, Rick Hoffman, who plays Louis, speaks out on how his character has obviously changed throughout the entire run of the show. He does not reveal a lot of details about the show's season finale, but hinted that his resignation from fictional law firm Pearson Specter has started a chain reaction of events, including those that involve his character.

"I really do think it is up to Louis to be the bigger person and realize that no matter how hard he tried when he worked there, no matter how much more work he did than Harvey, despite his massive efforts to save the firm, he has to understand that people see or saw him a certain way. Just like in real life -- no matter how hard you try to prove you're different, they just see you as they initially saw you," he told Zap2It.

In the season finale, Hypable said Louis nonetheless, showed that he did not want to leave Pearson Spector without a fight. In a tense scene with Jessica (Gina Torres), Louis spits out his demand to be instead, rejoin the firm as a partner unless she does want him to go to the authorities to sell the firm out of its misdeeds.

Speaking of disagreements, whatever's going on between Mike (Patrick J. Adams) and Rachel (Meghan Markle) has obviously not been mended and it seems like the show creators are ready to play out the situation between the love birds. It could be recalled that in the Season 4 finale, Rachel is furious at Mike for going to her father Robert Zane (Wendell Pierce) to ask the latter to hire Louis following his resignation. The Hollywood Reporter had a few words with Aaron Korsh, "Suits" creator, and he expressed how happy he has been with the fan reaction about Mike and Rachel. Korsh explained though that like in real life, no matter how much you love a person, when they make a mistake it does take quite some time before you can forgive them, and that is what has been going on with the two.

"They're trying to work things out. They might be in a little bit of a rocky place, but what we were trying to communicate was that forgiveness is a process. You can't force it, you can't rush it. You can try to force it but these feelings are going to come up again and again. I read fan feedback and some people are like, "He should never forgive her, it's crazy!" while other people are like, "Enough already, he should forgive her. All she did was kiss the guy!" When people have such vehement responses on both sides, that makes me think, "Good, I made a good decision,"" Korsh said.
