The fifth season of the highly acclaimed HBO series "Game of Thrones" is scheduled o premiere early 2015, giving the team plenty of time to prepare. While filming is underway, however, the production is facing some difficulties shooting a scene.
The scene involves Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) where she has to be publicly humiliated by walking naked. But according to a report by TMZ, the production team could not get a permit to film it. The film commission of Dubrovnik, Croatia, where the scene is to be shot, denied them a shooting permit as the city prohibits public nudity.
Spoilers suggest that the dominant and suspicious character will be facing difficulties in the upcoming season. Cersei was under the assumption that the Tyrells are planning to rule the kingdom by using Margaery Tyrell (Natalie Dormer).
Based on the book, Cersei will accuse Margaery of adultery and treason. Her plans will fail after High Septon discovers that she is done guilty of the crime. As a punishment, Cersei will be stripped of her clothes in public and made to walk nude from the Great Sept of Baelor to the Red Keep.
The scene is of great importance in the story as it the event will cause Cersei to give up her position, making way for Kevan Lannister (Ian Gelder) as the new regent.
