Angelina Jolie has finally made Brad Pitt an honest man over the weekend as multiple reports announced that the two secretly married in France. According to People.com, the wedding was done in Chateau Miraval in the village of Correns on Saturday. The property was special to the Pitts as it was the first of many homes that they have settled. The estate, which also grows wine, is massive and perfect for a Hollywood couple who wish to held private ceremonies such as a wedding. The magazine said the chateau boasted 35 rooms with an ancient chapel and a 1,100-acre working vineyard.
Buzzfeed said that the wedding, first confirmed by the married couple's spokesperson to the Associated Press, involved the Pitts' children. Ahead of the nuptials, their brood had been spotted arriving in a private jet to Nice. The couple first wed in the chapel before the nondenominational civil rites, with a Californian judge to officiate the wedding.
Following her engagement with Pitt back in 2012, Jolie told People.com in an earlier interview on how their marriage plans were being made by their own children. The two adopted three children and had three biological children in their nine years of companionship.
She was quoted as saying, "We're just waiting for it to be the right time with the kids, with work, when it feels right. We talk about it occasionally, and the kids talk about it with us. Which is verging on hysterical, how kids envision a wedding. They will in a way be the wedding planners. It's going to be Disney or paintball - one or the other! We've got a lot of different personalities in the house. They've got some strong opinions. It will be fun. That's the important thing. When we do it, it will feel like a great day for our family."
