A Quora member addressed a user's question on what would be the reasons why celebrities are more prone to marrying multiple times as oppose to working out their previous marriages. The member, who claimed to have worked in the industry as celebrity assistant, claimed that economic support, their busy schedules, and temptation to meet another one who could be a potential replacement are among the factors why some celebrities are able to move on from their current partners, get divorced and marry another one.
Moreover, the illusion of marrying a brand purportedly adds to the difficulty of celebrities to stay married and work on their marriages. The Quora member wrote, "Some people get disappointed when they see those things because when they met the celebrity, they had expectations over their image, and expectations usually bring disappointment. And some people tolerate the things they dislike about real them for a while, they think they like the things they actually dislike, and those become unavoidable when you're married."
Additionally, the Quora member claimed that age and cultural differences are also factors in the demise of a celebrity marriage. In the US, celebrities are far more comfortable to getting a divorce as it is an acceptable norm, as oppose to celebrities elswhere, like in Britain, where divorce means "failure." Moreover, despite the fact that couples stress that the age difference is not a factor, the Hollywood insider claims it is a significant aspect in the relationship that could cause the success or the demise of the marriage.
