Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting was not spared from the massive naked photo leak stemming from an iCloud hack as "The Big Bang Theory" actor was shown in a dressing room without her clothes. The hack has affected dozens of celebrities, several of which are intending to pursue a case against the perpetrator.
Cuoco-Sweeting joins Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton, Selena Gomez, Kirsten Dunst, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and many other celebrities as victims of the massive hack, with multiple naked photos of the stars being released to the public after originating from a 4chan account. The victims of the hack have responded differently to the breech of privacy, as The Epoch Times shares that some have already claimed the leaked photos to be fake, including Victoria Justice.
Lawrence has not explicitly said that her alleged photos were fake, but instead a representative warned that the perpetrators of this "flagrant violation of privacy" will be apprehended. Kate Upton's attorney, Lawrence Shire, also spoke of the hacking as a violation of the model's privacy and that they intend to pursue anyone related to the distribution of the photos, reports IB Times.
Meanwhile, Winstead said that the photos of her were real, but that they had been deleted years ago.
As for Cuoco-Sweeting, according to Inquisitr, the "Big Bang Theory" star did not deny the photos. The star did not react negatively either. News.co.au reports the 28-year-old actress taking the hacking in stride and opted to respond to it with an Instagram post showing her and husband Ryan Sweeting on the beach with their private parts pixelated to make them look naked at first glance. The caption reads: "What a fun day that was frolicking with my hubs on the beaches of Mexico. Feels like we forgot something?" IB Times clarifies that the actor was wearing a black bathing suit. Cuoco-Sweeting has 950,000 followers on Instagram and has already earned over 27,000 likes, shares IB Times.
The Epoch Times shares that authorities have been working on resolving the issue and that the FBI is allegedly aware of the situation. The FBI is remembered to have also investigated prior hacks resulting in the widespread distribution of celebrity private photos, and said investigations ended in convictions.
Apple spokesperson Natalie Kerris also stepped up to say that the company is investigating the alleged hack, but refused to give any further comments. News.co.au says that the hacking exploited a flaw in Apple's "Find My iPhone" function.
