Kate Upton reigns as the face of luxury shoe brand Sam Edelman for the third time as she models for the fall collection of the brand. In her most recent shoot, the 22-year old Sports Illustrated model keeps it simple, sultry and seductive as she lies in bed wrapped only in a blanket while holding a burgundy stiletto with an opulent gold heel, Dailymail.co.uk reports.
The close up shot of the model turned actress was shot in London under the direction of Trey Laird with shots by Photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. Broadwayworld.com shares that the images from the campaign will be featured in major digital and nationwide billboard campaigns while a behind-the-scenes video will be featured soon in samedelman.com.
Eonline.com featured the blonde beauty excitingly posting her shot in her Instagram account with the caption "Love my new @sam_edelman fall campaign! Thanks to @metalas and @macpiggott for the amazing shots!"
When asked about to describe the campaign, designer, founder, and division president of the brand Sam Edelman himself shared to WWD, "This campaign reveals Kate in an intimate one-on-one moment. With the launch of our apparel line this season, we can dress her from toe to head but sometimes all she wants are her Sams."
The $2.5 billion global footwear company under the Brown Shoe Company is mostly famous for its platform heels but has also made its mark among celebrities and fashionistas. When asked why he chose Kate to be the face of their brand for the third time running, Edelman said that he liked her because she "epitomizes the classic American Beauty and yet she's approachable."
He further shares to the Dailymail, "And I love that she's curvy. I also love that she and I share the same passion for horses."
Edelman, who is a regular on the Florida horse circuit with wife Libby and the owner of a world-class equestrian stable supposedly spotted the former horseback riding champion wearing equestrian-style boots from his brand. This is said to have instigated the 61-year-old's fancying of the young bombshell.
This is definitely another success for Kate who has also recently closed deals with Express and Bobbi Brown.
