We don't often hear from the "Bachelorette" contestants that don't either become the next "Bachelor" or marry their season's "Bachelorette."
So when Patrick Jagodzinski spoke to Enstars about his time on the ABC reality show, it's like reality TV gold.
Here's what he had to say about Andi picking Josh Murray as the one she wanted to marry:
"Literally, perfect for each other. I think a lot of the guys had a suspicion about the two of them considering that he lives in the same town as her. Not only that, but it seems to me that they both have very similar tendencies and qualities. So, I think it's the perfect choice."
And, on a touchier subject, the actions of another contestant, Andrew Poole, who allegedly referred to his season's two African-American contestants as "Blackies." Jagodzinski, however, denies that Poole would ever say something so ugly.
"And Andrew, he's nothing like he was portrayed in the show, I cannot emphasize that enough. He was portrayed as a womanizing racist, which is so not true and so far from the fact of who he is as a person. He comes from a great family and he has a great group of friends in L.A."
The contestants on "The Bachelorette" definitely form close bonds- Jagodzinski also told Ok! Here is the situation about the close friendships formed on the show.
"The moment you step into the limo is truly the first time you meet anyone. You can't help but bond immediately with these guys; especially when you are all equally nervous."
As well, Jagodzinski spoke on how there are also a few downsides to the buddy-buddy nature of the show:
"I had only been on group dates. I wanted to show her that there are so many different sides to me that you don't know. Her response the next day was sending me home."
So friendships are good, but nothing but friendships (and no "Bachelorette" time) isn't quite as positive. Good to know.
