A-list couple Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling are reportedly expecting a baby boy. According to an insider who told OK! Magazine, the actress is convinced that her first child with Gosling is a boy despite the fact that they decided to paint the nursery in neutral colors. The source said the dead giveaway was that witnesses have said that the accessories in the nursery of the couple's baby were blue, and that the couple are rumored to have been on the hunt for an airplane mobile for the baby's crib.
"Ryan put together the crib, which is made out of bamboo, so it's environmentally friendly. Everything in the baby's room is sustainable. There will be monkeys on the walls. They even have nicknamed the baby 'Monkey,' which they think is adorable," the source added.
The couple, who started dating in September 2011 while shooting the movie "The Place Beyond the Pines," were reportedly rocked with the pregnancy news. As the baby was unplanned, the news had allegedly taken the actor by surprise, Hollywood Life said. The couple has been together for 3 years now, but sources have said that despite the fact that Eva is carrying his child, Ryan has no plans her.
That being said, Mendes is reportedly determined to make everything official before the baby comes, said another OK! Magazine insider. The insider added, "Ryan up without a dad, so he always said when he had kids, he'd be there no matter what."
A source close to the situation told US Magazine that Ryan is taking good care of Eva by doing errands and buying groceries for her. Moreover, it was also suggested that "the Notebook" star is happy to take the role of a father. Ryan has also been doing a lot of cooking for Eva, who is purportedly craving for pasta, adds the source.
