Anyone who has an instagram probably knows who Dan Bilzerian is by now. The multimillionaire poker star who posts how to live the good life in an extravagant fashion by uploading pictures of scantily clad girls, cars, and guns. But now, someone challenges the throne and it is none other than Jamaican cricket player Chris Gayle.
Dan has go on to say that he is the 'Instagram Playboy' and the numbers show with him having around 4 million followers. Chris on the other hand calls himself 'the World Boss', but trails when it comes to his 70,000 followers on instagram.
But before Dan was known as the 'Instagram Playboy', he was just a normal guy. In an interview by the Dailydot, Dan shares his seemingly normal past and says that he wasn't the 'cool guy' back in highschool. He attended military boarding school and even went to live with Mormons in Utah for a year. Dan was also caught having a machine gun in the trunk of his car and he was sent to jail during his senior year, but he managed to get his GED nonetheless.
He later joined the military and made it through the Navy SEAL training with a score of 99 percent. But two days before graduation he cursed an officer which led to him not being passed during peer evaluation.
But living a rockstar life has taken a toll on Dan's health when he was 25 and went on a 4-day snowboarding vacation where he ended up having a double heart attack. During the 4-day escapade, Dan went on doing all kinds of crazy stuff including snowboarding, traveling, hanging out with friends, and more without getting any sleep or rest. In an interview with Dailydot, Dan Bilzerian's PR, Steve Honig says that, "His body was absolutely overloaded after four days, and the heart condition happened."
This hasn't been the first time he has been in serious problems when it comes to his health. In August 2011, Dan went to Maui and Las Vegas in 3-days where he flew twice to play poker. In the end his heart gave out and landed in the hospital. Dan thought it was just a heart attack, but upon closer examination by the doctors, it was actually a pulmonary embolism. This is indeed very concerning since Dan Bilzerian was barely 30 years old and he already had three heart attacks.
