The release date of George R.R. Martin's highly anticipated novel "Winds of Winter", an installment on his "A Song of Ice and Fire" and the basis of HBO's award winning show "Game of Thrones", might not be out this year or the next.

Martin's remarkable slow writing techniques to suspense all bookworms seem to be working as the "Game of Thrones", reportedly, would be changing several scenes (inclusive of cutting several characters) due to the novel's late publication. The Hugo nominee, however, stated that the book would be unveiled when done. What shall be the adjustments to happen on GoT, then?
According to Ecumenical News, Hodor and Bran would not be appearing on the next season, for their stories are to be continued on "Winds of Winter". "We have a season off and we have a year's hiatus, solely because I imagine our storyline is up to the end of the books," Kristian Nairn disclosed.
If so, might, as well Season 5 shall be out on the bracket of 2015 to 2017, considering "Winds of Winter's" speculated release date. Moreover, his novel "The World of Ice and Fire", the history of "Seven Kingdoms", which sets to its release date on October 26, is under priority recently, as reported by Metro.
On Martin's website, he stated the novel's background, and it reads; "This lavishly illustrated volume is a comprehensive history of the Seven Kingdoms, providing vividly constructed accounts of the epic battles, bitter rivalries, and daring rebellions that lead to the events of A Song of Ice and Fire and HBO's Game of Thrones."
Meanwhile, "Game of Thrones" Season 5 is to expose galvanizing events on the life of Cersei Lannister after the death of his father, Lord Tywin, who was killed by his own dwarf son by use of a crossbow. In the North, an expounded introduction on Osha and Shaggydog is expected.
