All hell broke loose during the "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" reunion special when an exchange between reality star couples turned physical. Stevie J and Joseline Hernandez became physical following co-star Benzino's snide remark against Stevie J. According to Christian Post, Joseline took Benzino's drug-addict remark about Stevie J as a verbal attack and placed the situation into her own hands, getting even by giving him and his fiance Althea Eaton a few hits before security stops the entire incident.
A better explanation of the exceptionally violent Part 2 of the reunion special was shown in a teaser video when each couple was interviewed separately to explain their sides of the story. Celeb Dirty Laundry reported that Althea and Benzino are threatening to sue Joseline and Stevie J, while the latter are insistent that if those false statements were not mentioned, they would have kept to themselves and not create a scene. Stevie J also claimed that his former pal sucker punched Joseline during the exchange.
Because of the violence in Part 2 of the "LHHATL" reunion special, show management has decided to film Part 3 in "closed doors," and will no longer be shot with a live audience for security purposes.
But how true is the rumor that Stevie J and Joseline acted violent for the cameras? It has been reported that Benzino revealed that Joseline and Stevie J only acted up the episode 2 brawl for the lights and cameras and because they knew there was security that would stop the altercation to continue. Atlanta Daily World said that the "Hip Hop Weekly" owner claimed that Stevie J and Joseline were cowards and only acted to get violent at him and his fiancee at the reunion special. Moreover, he also said that his former pal and his girlfriend are actually broke, and only had gotten to their feet when he decided to let the two live with him before he doled out the business dividends entitled to Stevie J.
