Katy Perry's Friends are "Concerned"- The "Dark Horse" Singer is Partying Dangerously

By

You'd think that the matching denim getups that Katy Perry and Riff-Raff wore to the VMAs would be enough to make her friends and loved ones concerned. You can see those images above, but beware- they may be traumatizing to younger readers.

But it's actually what happened after the VMA celebrations had ended that's causing those around Perry to start worrying. According to OK! Magazine, Perry and Riff Raff (the rapper she's pictured with above) did a significant amount of drinking after the awards show and got out of control very fast.

Apparently, after the show, Perry and Riff Raff went to an upscale steakhouse, but were "already on another level" even before they got there. Once inside, Perry knocked back a vodka soda "in seconds" and then belched loudly.

And yes, the source does specifically mention her burping.

Eventually, it got to the point where Perry "had trouble keeping her eyes open." Which is typically a very bad sign.

OK! also provides a potential reason why Perry went off the deep end after the VMAs:

"Katy is trying to cover up her loneliness by partying," say their sources. "She's terrifed of turning 30 and not having anyone special."

Which would make sense, given that the singer recently broke up with John Mayer.

OK! Magazine also adds that Perry continued to drink the next day at Emmy-related parties.

Fashion & Style also adds to the news, reporting that Perry tweeted about her drinking after the fact ("Remember kids, there's a reason the word pain is in champagne") and that many of Perry's friends are concerned about this new habit.

However, it's not all bad in the world of Katy Perry. According to NationSwell, she's been auctioning off VIP concert tickets, with the proceeds going to affordable housing for veterans.

That part she should probably stick with. The drinking, not so much.
