Google Nexus 8 is believed to be available in the market on or before October 9, according to reports. The tablet is reported to deliver ease of use through its user-friendly interface and is going to run on the latest android version software, Android L.
Chromium Code Review mentioned about "Nexus 8," which gives fans the idea that this might just be the name of the new device. However, the Android community seems to be having some confusion regarding the name of the new device, and as of now details about it are still inconsistent, reported Android Origin.
Fortunately, there are some details about this flagship device from Google regarding some specs that android users can expect. The more realistic specs suggest a 8.9-inch display with a resolution of 2048 x 1440 pixels. This gives the tablet 281 PPI, but it doesn't qualify it as a Quad HD display (that's 2560 x 1440). To support such claims, Google is planning to release a tablet with larger display and a "high performance" screen, according to CNET as told by HIS. Inside the Nexus 8, will be a 64-bit NVIDIA Tegra K1 SoC. This has a dual-core processor paired with a 192-core Kepler GPU chip which gives the device a cutting-edge performance. There is also a strong likelihood that it will house a 2 GB RAM which will be available in 16GB and 32GB models. The camera can also offer that crisp in texture and hues with its 8MP rear and 3MP front resolution.
Rumors also seem to agree that this device will be manufactured by HTC, and along these are some details about its construction. It will weigh 418 grams and 427 for the model with LTE capacity. There could also be stereo front-facing speakers and a zero-gap aluminum construction. Regarding the price of Nexus 8, the 16GB variant will be priced at $399 while the 32GB model will be $499.
To add up to the excitement, the Android L, "Lollipop," which will be Google's latest firmware, will include a variety of features that users are sure to enjoy.
