A lot appears to have been bothering "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star Khloe Kardashian that she reportedly declared a break after dating boyfriend rapper French Montana for eight months. US Weekly's sources exclusively reveal that Montana got too "needy" and that Kardashian realized how "dependent" he was on her.
An insider stated "They are on a break. The relationship got too heavy and Khloe needed to take a step back."
The couple started dating May of this year but before even getting serious, members of the famous Kardashian clan reportedly had strong opinions about Montana. "Mom-ager" Kris Jenner had her own view regarding Montana and "did not approve and told Khloe all the time". Khloe's older sister Kim and step-father former Olympian Bruce Jenner also had sensed Montana's "skeptical" intentions and believed he was benefiting off of Khloe's fame in garnering his own.
Despite all the hate towards Montana, he denied this in an interview he did with Access Hollywood back in August. He said, "When it comes to her career, I don't think about it. If she needs me to do something, I do it. She supports me with everything I do."
But how true is the reason why Khloe is distancing herself from the "Cocaine Mafia" rapper is that she may be still in love with her former husband, basketball superstar Lamar Odom? It has been suggested that Khloe, who has since filed for divorce last December 2013, might not have really moved on completely from her marriage with the basketball player.
Ahead of the former couple's wedding anniversary on September 27, Khloe posted a cryptic message on her Instagram account. The quote read, "Maybe one day we'll find that place where you and I could be together. And we'll catch our dreams within the waves of change. So smile for me one last time and believe that we'll meet again. Until then, I'll be missing you."
Although this may seem like a direct message to Odom, or to French for that matter if they did split, it can also mean that Khloe is just paying homage to the late comedienne and "Fashion Police" host Joan Rivers since she died a couple of hours before she posted it.
