Jennifer Lawrence had been in hiding ever since the explosion of her leaked pictures over the internet but it seems like Hollywood's golden girl is slowly returning to the arms of the public little by little. And oh boy, did she make use of her first public appearance since the scandal by showing in the arms of boyfriend Chris Martin.
Though they were able to escape the lens of the paparazzi, the Coldplay frontman and Hunger Games star were spotted enjoying a romantic dinner at La Dolce Vita in Beverly Hills according to Mirror.co.uk (via People.com). And despite the rough few weeks the actress had, an eyewitness said that the two were really cute together with Jennifer acting all goofy.
This was followed by another romantic night, this time with Chris' friends, back at West Hollywood's Chateau Marmont. E! News exclusively revealed that Jennifer introduced herself to Martin's friends who all welcomed her warmly. According to sources, the two seem very comfortable and happy in each other's company. An eyewitness even commented, "It doesn't seem like it's a new relationship. They seem super affectionate and at ease with each other."
Again, Jen was reported to be the exact opposite of a depressed girl who just suffered from a major public humiliation. "She is very gregarious and confident," the source dished. And in the rare moments that Chris wasn't rubbing her back, the musician affectionately held her hand instead.
Funnily enough, Jen's magical night was only slightly disturbed when awkwardness briefly settled in the form of Robert Pattinson arrival later in the night. Rob and Jen supposedly "saw one another and even walked past one another at one point. " However, the two didn't interact at all.
The reason behind it could be the recent rounds of rumors involving exes Kristen Stewart and Nicholas Hoult who seem to be spending lots of time together on and off set of their film "Equals". The two have supposedly become so close to the point that Nicholas was there when Kristen had her belly button pierced. The pair also did the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge together.
An insider close to the two told Hollywoodlife.com, "Kristen and Nicholas have really connected with each other on so many levels. They really get each other and their wacky sense of humor. They've become super tight and it's been healing for both of them to have someone to really lean on."
Yikes. Now who could blame Jen and Rob from feeling a little awkward?
