Two weeks ago, on a Sunday, August 31, Donnie Wahlberg slipped a diamond ring onto Jenny McCarthy's finger and married her.
Come Monday, she lost that ring after putting it on a room service table before "getting frisky" with her husband, ABC News reported.
"I'm hoping someone does find it. They could have maybe not seen it, or it could have gone under a dish and thrown away on accident," she told ABC News. "But I'm missing it today! I keep going, 'Where is my ring?!' But Donnie and I are both laughing that at least we lost it for the best reason possible!"
McCarthy apparently misplaced her new ring during a newlywed romantic engagement with her husband.
"We were staying in a hotel and you can't have a wedding ring on," she said on Good Day NY, a local Fox program. "It's a little hard to get romantic with diamonds on your hand. I removed it and put it on the room service table and they came and turned down the room and the ring was gone."
But McCarthy doesn't seem to be the least bit bothered.
"But you know what though? If you're gonna lose your wedding ring, you should lose it that way," she added.

In one of the photos, Wahlberg is helping his now stepson, Evan, who walked his mom down the aisle, get dressed. In another photo, Wahlberg and McCarthy posed for a picture with Wahlberg's New Kids on the Block bandmates, who all served as groomsmen: brothers Jordan and Jonathan Knight, Joey McIntyre, and Danny Wood.
This is the second marriage of the two.
McCarthy was previously married to John Mallory Asher. They were married on September 11, 1999. Their son Evan, who was diagnosed with autism, was born on May 18, 2002. They divorced in September 2005.
Wahlberg married Kim Fey on August 20, 1999, with whom he has sons, Xavier, 21, and Elijah, 13. Citing "irreconcilable differences", Wahlberg and Fey filed for divorce on August 13, 2008.
