Why won't "Bachelor" Juan Pablo Galavis tell his girlfriend that he loves her?
The latest "Bachelor" scandal comes by way of VH1's series, "Couples Therapy," which currently stars Galavis and his girlfriend, Nikki Ferrell, as one of many celebrity couples undergoing a little on-air couples' counseling.
Now, according to an exclusive clip (courtesy of People), we know just why the couple is in counseling in the first place. It seems that Galavis is enthusiastic about everything in their relationship- especially the idea of going on "Couples Therapy," but he doesn't share the same enthusiasm about Ferrell herself.
And he still hasn't said an "I love you" to her, at all.
Ferrell has an issue with this. As well, according to People, she has an issue with the amount of scrutiny she faces as part of a celebrity couple. Here's what the "Bachelor" star told People:
"When you're at a restaurant and someone recognizes you, you stand up and take a picture [with them]," said Juan Pablo Galavis. "Ten seconds and then you sit. That's it. They're happy. You're happy."
"But I'm not," added Ferrell. "Because maybe I'm mid-bite or we're mid-conversation. I feel like it's extremely rude, and he doesn't feel like that."
"The more we open up this relationship to show people into it, the more it gives them to attack us," Ferrell said. "I want it to be a normal relationship. I want to protect us. I feel like Juan Pablo took a lot of s--- from people in the media for not saying 'I love you.' I just want to have my normal life."
"That's one of the reasons why we're here," Ferrell finished. "It's a process to figure out how to handle these situations."

Sounds like Ferrell isn't as upset over the lack of an "I love you" as it would seem. But then, in a piece for Fashion & Style, she was also quoted as saying:
"I don't want to force anything from him. But there is still a part of me that thinks, 'Maybe today it's going to come. Maybe tomorrow it's going to come.'"
So the "I love you" (or lack thereof) might be more serious than she initially claimed. According to Classicalite, Galavis considers those three words like a matter of "life and death..." so Ferrell might be waiting a while longer to hear them.
