iOS 8 can scan credit card number via photo
According to Lifehacker, when users purchase something online, they can now have the option of placing their credit card number on the blank field by simply taking a snap shot of the credit card so that the iOS can scan and recognize the number.
iOS 8 can hide images from the photo app
If you are a private person and you don't want anyone to see your photos, you can easily hide them now, according to Macrumors. With a mere tap and hold of the photo, a "HIDE" option will appear on your screen. Just use this option and your photos will not be visible in Moments, Collections or Years. These photos can still be viewed in a "hidden" album.
iOS 8 allows you to declutter your home screen
If you are a minimalist and you do not want clutter on your display, the iOS can provide you with an empty screen according to Lifehacker. You can remove apps off the first screen by tapping and holding on to the apps until they jiggle. Then, you can drag them off to another area and keep your home screen blank or empty.
iOS 8 shows battery usage data
Most people are generally wary about short battery life. A smartphone-dependent person gets very anxious when he or she notice that the battery is almost drained. According to Extreme Tech, ithere is an option in the new iOS 8 that allows the user to monitor which app uses a lot of power. Simply go to Settings> General> Usage> Battery Usage> and find out which app is causing the extreme battery life drainage.
