Fans of "Thor" have a lot of things to look forward to in the upcoming third installment of the comic superhero movie franchise.
"Thor 3" could be featuring the death of main character Loki (Tom Hiddleston) according to rumors. Also doing the rounds online are rumors that the upcoming film will also feature new characters such as Valkyrie.
Other reports claim that it will also use Ragnarok theme. The original Thor-Ragnarok storyline features the god superhero is missing and presumed to be dead. The story also involves the epic battle between the gods of Asgardian.
While the Ragnarok theme still remains a speculation, film producer Craig Kyle and scribe Christopher Yost have teased about it earlier. This made more sense when the movie's lead star Chris Hemsworth revealed that he has an idea of where the storyline would lead through his interview with Screenrant.
"I think that in the comic book the sort of end of days, Armageddon aspect is probably the direction in which it will all head in," Hemsworth said. "Where it's sort of the end of all things and there's obviously no script or anything when I read the comic books I thought it was an interesting way to go."
An article by Movie Pilot reads, "Essentially, Thor 3 Ragnarok sees Loki and the Fire demon Surtur march on Asgard. Thor manages to fight them off, but loses his famous hammer Mjolnir. Once he has dealt with the fire demon and his brother, however, he does not hesitate in dealing him once and for all-Thor rips his brother's head off."
The website also noted that Tom Hiddleston could be a perfect actor to be cast as Joker in the following Batman movies. It also mentioned other potential new roles for the actor such as Mister Sinister or other character that could appear in other Marvel movies such as Avengers 3.
Meanwhile, Hiddleston was recently cast in the "King Kong" prequel "Skull Island," according to Enstarz.
Another article by Movie Pilot listed characters that could possibly be featured in "Thor 3." It noted that fans could be seeing Valkyrie this time.
"Not only will Thor's universe be expanded, but with her on the screen Marvel is that much closer to a Secret Avengers movie should they choose to make one. Valkyrie's job is to fly over the battlefield and select brave warriors who have died and guide them to Valhalla. She wields the Dragonfang. I think that is her sword. She has wielded a spear as well," the website explained.
The website also mentioned other characters including Beta Ray Cill, Enchantress and the Executioner, Ulik, and Mangog.
