The once sheltered life of "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Guidice will reportedly get a downgrade real soon. The celebrity, who is set to be sentenced due to her involvement in her husband Joe's bank fraud, has already listed her Towaco, New Jersey, mansion for $4 million, US Weekly said.
Teresa is awaiting a court decision on October 2 that would possibly have her and her husband in prison over felony fraud charges for up to 35 years, Celebrity Dirty Laundry said. Moreover, Joe is also facing a possible deportation to Italy. The Guidices' legal troubles purportedly hurt the show that it has been said that fans are no longer tuning in to the Bravo series that the network is thinking of firing the couple.
Teresa's mounting troubles, on the other hand, had allowed Bravo to look into other opportunities to boost the show that it had reportedly rehired fired cast member Jacqueline Laurita for the upcoming season, Hollywood Life said. In the September 21st episode of the show, it has been made known that Jacqueline's return was to facilitate a reunion of sorts with Teresa, whom she had clashed with in the past.
"I can't imagine what she's going through right now. They have to go through the rest of their life being a convicted felon. And I know for Teresa, she doesn't like to admit to anything. A lot of times, she'll blame shift and things like that so for her to take on guilt, that was huge for Teresa to do," Jacqueline was quoted as saying.
On the other hand, Celeb Dirty Laundry said that Teresa's current troubles may not essentially get her off the show, in the meantime, considering that she is allegedly pregnant with baby number five and that her lawyers are appealing for a lighter sentence, like a house arrest. Citing an InTouch Weekly report, the site said there is a possibility that Teresa might come out literally unscathed from her legal troubles because of her pregnancy.
