Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie may be "uncoupled" for now, but things are not over for the married couple who remain a part of each other's life. Duff's singing career keeps her too busy to do a "Lizzie McGuire" reunion.
According to Fashion & Style, Duff is open to touching up on her Disney roots and going for a "Lizzie McGuire" reunion. The singer/actress herself said that she loves the idea of reuniting the full-cast. "I would totally be open to it," Duff shared to Huffington Post. The actress thinks the idea could work since many loved Lizzie back then.
"I got so strong with my physical comedy and all the things that they would throw at me," Duff reminisced about the show that ended ten years ago. Huffington Post also has Duff talking about the five-year tour she did for the show. "Once I was done with my last tour, I was just like, 'I'm done. I need a break. I need to go away. I need to like live,'" the actor relayed.
However, Duff added that her schedule is packed right now, making time for the reunion hard to fit in. Fashion & Style reports that Duff has recently shot the music video for "All About You" where ex-husband Comrie has notably been present and stayed for most of the day, a source divulged. Though the two have announced their amicable uncoupling in January, they remain close and affectionate and continue to be responsible parents to their son, Luca.
Duff even posted a birthday greeting for Comrie on Instagram wishing him and their son a "great boys' day".
Even with Comrie still in Duff's life, an ex-boyfriend of the star has also been linked to her again. According to E! News, Aaron Carter had admitted his feelings for his ex-girlfriend via Twitter. However, Carter also thinks that it's time to seal his lips about Duff. Duff has admitted she is aware of Carter's posts, though she is still hoping for reconciliation with Comrie in time. "I don't know how I feel. I mean, that was so long ago, and obviously I'm still married and I have a baby and we kind of just...don't know each other."
