The 45-year old retired F1's greatest racer of all time, Michael Schumacher, was previously send back to his home and to continue with his rehabilitation procedures with a bunch of medical personnel.
West Germany's renowned racer has fifteen people monitoring his health composed of a team of doctors, physical therapists and professional nurses. The team of medical experts approximately costs more or less than $160,000. Schumacher has all these sent to Switzerland to supervise him every day in the comforts of his family's estate 25 miles away from the hospital where he was admitted in Lausanne.
"A large part of the team that cares for Michael now was trained by our specialists," the clinic's spokesperson reveals. "We are following his treatment and are still a point of contact and entirely at his disposal."
Since Schumacher, being brought back to Switzerland on Tuesday, September 9, no update regarding his recovery was stated from the racer's family relatives. However, his manager Sabine Kehm disclosed that his condition improved and the medical experts have been a huge help throughout the rehabilitation. He may be unable to maneuver his body completely, but he can already move his eyes, according to Breathe Cast.
Previously, a family statement wished "that the privacy of Michael's family continue to be respected, and that speculation about his state of health is avoided."
The Formula One legend was in coma from December 29 last year to June 16 this year due to his drastic head injury he had while skiing, where he had a traumatic brain injury, at the Meribel resort in Gland. He was first airlifted and brought to University Hospital Center (UHC) in Grenoble, France, which is several miles away from the venue.
Michael Schumacher's video recording from his helmet showed the altitude of his fall sending him 35 feet hitting his head to a rock, New York Times reported.
It is safe to say that Michael Schumacher is recovering fast from the incident.
