It seems that Paula Patton has moved on from his estranged husband Robin Thicke, as reported by E! Online. The article shows Paula looking very lovely next to makeup artist Sam Fine in this picture posted on Sam's Instagram. Althoug there have been rumors of various men trying to court Paula, she has yet to confirm or deny any of the said rumors.
Meanwhile, an insider says that they saw Robin attended the star-studded birthday party by Richie Akiva at 1OAK in Los Angeles earlier this week.
The source goes on to say that Robin neither showed up, nor left the party with anyone and was hanging out with his friend Richie the whole night except when he performed on stage. Other stars were also reported to attend the party, including P. Diddy and Jamie Foxx.
It hasn't been a good year at all for Robin Thicke, with an impending divorce with Paula Patton and of course the Marvin Gaye rip-off controversy with the song "Blurred Lines".
It was fall last year when the Marvin Gaye estate filed a lawsuit against artists Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams for illegally ripping-off Marvin Gaye's song "Got to Give it Up" and using it to make "Blurred Lines" in this report by CNN. Although Robin filed a preemptive lawsuit against the copyright claim in the post on CNN, the Marvin Gaye estate stands firmly in pushing the lawsuit forward.
But in recent reports by CNN and CBS news, Robin has claimed that he was high on drugs and booze when the song was being written. He goes on to say that he was, "lucky enough to be there when he [Pharrell] wrote the song".
Robin's lawyer claims that the Gaye estate is exploiting Robin's moment of personal vulnerability in hopes to give their lawsuit a better chance of winning. But in response to this, the Gaye estate lawyer sent an email saying that, "We did not inject Mr. Thicke's issues in to this case. Mr. Thicke and his counsel did so in the attempt to avoid his prior admissions regarding 'Got to Give it Up'.
