After 9 years of marriage, high school sweethearts Robin Thicke and Paula Patton appeared to be over for good. It seems like the boat has officially sunk betweenthe "Blurred Lines" singer and his estranged wife after cheating rumors that surfaced many months back. Thicke had made great effort to get back with Patton, and even naming his next album "Paula." But it seems like all the hard work has not been paying out, and Fashion & Style said the singer looked like he had called it quits on their marriage.
Thicke may have found singlehood endearing so much that it has been reported that his neighbords are not too happy with his partying. Citing a TMZ article, KPopStarz said that Thicke was ticketed recently by responding police officers. The authorities said that although one's reaction would be embarassment, they claimed Thickehad a "total disregard" for the police officers. He was also said to be drunk, and decided to turn up the volume of the music when police officers left.
In addition to the supposed bachelor life Thicke is now living, reports have also circulated that Patton had decided to quit on their marriage when rumors arose that Katie Holmes had gotten in touch with Thicke, suggesting that a romance is brewing between the two. Citing a source of New Idea, The Inquisitr quoted the insider, who said, "She dropped him an email recently to see how he was, knowing he was going through divorce hell. And he was so happy to hear from her.They've arranged a date in New York after his tour ends this month. Everyone's encouraging this as they have so much in common and if anyone can get him over Paula, it's Katie."
It remains to be seen whether Patton is actually jealous with the new pairing, if such pairing actually happened. E! News said the actress' recent outing following her split with Thicke indicated that she has already moved past her estranged husband, as she was all smiles during an HBO Emmy party.
