What would make someone call Abby Lee Miller "creepy?" Or "weird?"

Other than watching "Dance Moms," of course (no offense).

Well, the star of "Dance Moms" has just posted a new photo of herself and a couple of her students to Instagram, and her many Instagram followers aren't responding to the photo the way MIller had hoped. They're lashing out, saying the photo is "creepy."

The photo itself shows Miller on a regular grey background, holding up two of her students- Maddie Ziegler and McKenzie Ziegler, both of whom are dressed in sparkling outfits. Both of the kids' clothing are also still mounted on coathangers, which makes the photo look a little weird (remember that old movie "Mommy Dearest?" Kind of soured the connection between overbearing moms and coathangers, don't you think?).

A caption posted along with the photo reads:

"sunday fun day just hanging around with #dancemoms @madisonziegler1313 @officialmackzmusic sporting new #aldc star sweats. really cool matching backpack & hat also available online - shop abbyleedancecompany.com"

The photo of Miller and her two hanger-hung child stars can be seen above.

Clearly, MIler was just trying to promote her brand, but it seems to have backfired. According to Enstars, posters on Instagram have been calling the photo "creepy," and "weird," and asking why Miller is "pulling the girls up clothes hangers on their backs."

Not great PR on that one. But some better PR comes from Maddie Ziegler, who recently spoke to In Touch Weekly about the upcoming season of Dance Moms. Here's what she said:

"It's definitely going to be really crazy with the moms and Abby, like it always is-but it's going to be more crazy this time! The new moms and our moms together are just...crazy."
