Foo Fighters Announce New Tour Dates for "Sonic Highways" Album, Will Rock Latin America Early Next Year

By

We've known the details of the Foo Fighters' next album for a while. According to previous reports, the next album from the group is titled "Sonic Highways," and it'll debut on November 10 of this year, along with a new HBO documentary about the recording of the album.

The documentary, also called "Sonic Highways," will track how the band recorded separate tracks in separate studios all across the country for their upcoming album, and will premiere on HBO in October.

Now, thanks to KpopStarz, we have the other big chunk of news about the Foo Fighters- the locations for their upcoming tour, which will follow the release of "Sonic Highways." They have some of the first stops on the tour, which will be in locations in Latin American countries starting in January. According to the Foo Fighters' Facebook page, some of those tour stops will include cities in Chile, Argentina, Brasil and Colombia.

But the Foo Fighters are also going underground for their latest tour- according to Music Times, the group will be playing a series of "secret UK club shows" during this upcoming week. Apparently, the band had only scheduled one performance in the United Kingdom, but they've hinted on Twitter that they may be playing more than one venue.

Which begs the question... if we don't know where the Foo Fighters are playing, how do we know where to see them?

It's a tricky questions, but hopefully someone has the answer. And hopefully, that "someone" is at least one member of the Foo Fighters.

Starting in September, the Foo Fighters will be playing shows in London, Los Vegas, New Orleans, Cape Town and Johannesburg, before embarking on the Latin American leg of their tour.

Check back soon for the latest news on the Foo Fighters, and their upcoming "Sonic Highways" tour.
