The first episode of the all new "The Mindy Project" is aptly entitled, "We're a Couple Now, Haters!" seemingly continuing the ongoing relationship blues and struggles that Mindy Lahiry (Mindy Kaling) and Danny Castellano (Chris Messina) have gone through over the many episodes of the hit TV comedy. Season 3 is said to be another challenge for both characters according to Classicalite because this will be the time when the couple tries their best to find the best balance between their work as doctors and their romantic relationship.
But as things seem to work out for the better between Mindy and Danny, fans will be left intrigued with the current situation that the TV show couple will be encountering during the progress of Season 3. The controversy easily arises in Mindy's dialogue that says, "Danny are you still married?" News sourced from Enstarz revealed that Danny stammers to reply to Mindy's query which directly places a possible first misunderstanding between the two.
Though the situation may seem to be one that could lead to a break up between this hilarious couple, the show creators promise fans that this will not happen, including Kaling. As reported by Us Weekly, Kaling said, "W ere really excited to see what these two super different characters would be like together. A lot of shows I think break the characters up for no reason because the show has to last for seven or eight years." She added, "We though, no. People can still be interesting when they are together. He's 40, she's 34. They just want to make it work."
And make it work the couple does to their best capacity as news from Fashion & Style report that the two goes on a fake break up just so Mindy does not serve any jail time, as she will be helped by her ex, Cliff (Glenn Howerton) only if she is not with Danny.
Another hilarious string of episodes will ensue for sure as the all new Season 3 of "The Mindy Project" airs Wednesdays on FOX.
