"The Originals" Season 2 will be kicking on the screens next week with a bunch of mysterious flashbacks. The highly anticipated series is said to be hopping four months backward. What to arise on the series? Who plans revenge?
Many are in question now of what Niklaus Mikaelson's step-dad, Mikael, who was introduced on the third season of "The Vampire Diaries", was up to the whole time prior to what we have witnessed. Everybody knows Mikael's journey - which his romance hit the bumpy road (for he was cheated on a werewolf) and Klaus is not his real son.
On an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the 50-year old Sebastian Roché, who plays Mikael, divulges that, "At the beginning of the season, he's still stuck in the attic with Davina, but he's trying to find ways, of course, to basically force her to free him, but you know of course she won't do that."
"He really is trying to free himself from these chains because Mikael wants to roam the world and get to his revenge as soon as possible. It does start there and you'll see what happens. It's going to be quite wonderful what happens in the rest of the series," he teases.
Moreover, he stated that the season will be full of emotions - this includes pain and vendetta - on the mindset of the "cruel character". There, he claimed that the family has to converse with Mikael and try to settle things. "It would be great! That would be so wonderful. Something of the kind would be interesting. I think it would be very, very emotionally charged and quite epic," he dishes.
Meanwhile, TV Line's Ask Ausiello focused on Camille this upcoming season. "Despite trying to distance herself from the supernatural, Cami will get pulled back in thanks to her friendships with Marcel, Josh and Davina," Ausiello begins. "Plus, she's feeling a bit guilty over baby Hope's death "because she didn't act fast enough, she didn't embrace the inheritance that Kieran left for her," Narducci explains. "She feels a certain amount of responsibility. Now she's thinking, 'If I don't get involved, maybe Davina's going to wind up in trouble. If I don't get involved, maybe Klaus is going to spiral out of control.'"
