Now that the hit show "The Originals" is about to come back this coming October 6, the show has promised a lot of things that would be happening in the upcoming season. One thing that fans of the CW series would expect to happen would be new additions to the already growing list of Klaus' (Joseph Morgan) enemies. The original monster hybrid is set to face of a new rival that will arrive in New Orleans.
According to TV Line, his latest rival will be introduced in episode 6 of the show. The rival, which will be played by Daniel Sharman of "Teen Wolf" fame, is described as a "respected and feared" werewolf pack leader. Moreover, Sharman's character is said to have a very bad temper, and his dark past will most likely catch up with him in New Orleans.
Also, two other characters who would be stirring trouble for both Klaus and Elijah (Daniel Gillies) are their parents. As what TV Guide reported, they would be facing Mikael (Sebastian Roche) and Ester (Alice Evans). As what executive producer Michael Narducci revealed at the show's discussion panel at this year's Comic-Con in San Diego, "The very thing that they cling to is now coming into jeopardy, and the antagonist is their mother, the person you should feel the most love from. This person is coming back to judge them as abominations."
Morgan also talked to Happy Cool about the return of his character's parents. "They're going to explore a lot more of the original parents. There's gonna be some payment need, some blood payment needed. You can expect thing to unfold quite quickly."
The first episode of the new season will be titled as "Rebirth" as revealed by Narducci and producer Julie Plec. According to Plec, the episode will focus on what happened after Klaus purportedly lost his baby Hope, without knowing that his child is actually alive, and will try to start a new life after the tragedy
