A viewer outside of SM Entertainment building reportedly saw Jessica while the K-pop star is running out of the company, KpopStarz reports.
It was believed that that was the day Jessica heard about the news she was no longer part of her group Girls' Generation.
A Chinese fan posted a photo of Jessica supposedly running out of SM Entertainment. The post came with a message that reads, "I'm heartbroken. Please don't cry Jessica."
In the photo, Jessica is seen looking as if she is crying while hurrying out of from a building.
Earlier this week, Jessica posted a message through her Weibo account announcing that she was "forced out" of the group.
"I was excited about our upcoming fan events only to shockingly be informed by my company and 8 others that as of today, I'm no longer a member I'm devastated. My priority and love is to serve as a member of GG, but for no justifiable reason, I am being forced out," her post reads.
This was followed by a statement released by SM Entertainment confirming that Girls' Generation will continue promoting as eight-member group. A part of the statement reads, "...the agency had no choice but to pull up Girls' Generation's activities as 8 members earlier than planned..."
The statement also said SM will continue to support and manage Jessica's individual activities. "From here on, our agency will continue to support and manage the 8-member Girls' Generation and Jessica's individual activities."
Meanwhile, TaeTiSeo (Girls' Generation unit group comprised of Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Seohyun) all broke down in a fan meeting event. Leader Taeyeon was reportedly not able to hold back her tears.
This was the sub-group's first public appearance since Jessica's departure from Girls' Generation.
"From the very beginning, I've never wanted anything but to look after Girls' Generation. I am sorry," said Taeyeon speaking in behalf of the other two members who kept crying quietly.
After apologizing, the leader also asked fans to trust them "one more time."
