Serena Williams' Instagram posts has been the topic of conversation as fans wonder if the tennis superstar has broken up with coach and rumored boyfriend Patrick Mouratoglou.
Williams' posts have been nothing but cryptic, but fans are relating them to the state of her relationship with Mouratoglou. According to KpopStarz, Williams' Instagram and Twitter post of herself having "dinner for one" have fans wondering if she had broken up with Mouratoglou. Williams also posted a fortune cookie with the message "You have a heart of gold" and "a picture of a cartoon stick figure holding a heart in the palms of their hands."
Williams' Instagram posts also talked a little about sports. "A champion isn't about how much they win, it's about how they recover from their downs," Williams published, the quote being of her own making. This could be related to Mouratoglou, as according to Fashion & Style, "Williams is reportedly dating her 44-year-old coach, and we know he definitely had an impact on her comeback in the US Open after her devastating Wimbledon losses this year."
The tennis superstar wasn't always alone in her Instagram posts, though. KpopStarz mentions that Williams posted a photo of her with her girlfriends, including one with Caroline Wozniacki. Fans also took notice of this and commented on her rumored boyfriend being jealous.
However, the rumors of the alleged couple's breakup may be debunked by an onlooker. Though it has not been documented on her Instagram account, a source tells New YorkPost's Page Six that Williams and Mouratoglou has been seen having a romantic date with the two being very intimate.
While Williams is being linked to Mouratoglou, this hasn't stopped other people from noticing her. Empty Lighthouse reports that Drake has posted Instagram photos for Williams' birthday, which is being interpreted as the rapper "falling for her again." The article mentions that Drake got cozy with Williams, but that it did not end well after Drake got in trouble with rapper Common who HipHop Hollywood says also previously dated Williams.
Williams is expected to perform well at Beijing's China Open.
