Kate Middleton's second pregnancy is proving to be even more difficult than her first, but Prince William and her family offers full support. Despite having to cancel her engagements because of her morning sickness, she has announced a new patronage.
According to Irish Independent, it continues to be a hard time for the Duchess of Cambridge, but she is supported by people who love her. For one, her husband, Prince William, has been communicating with the doctors to keep tabs on her health and to make sure she gets better soon. Because of her second pregnancy, Middleton has been resting while their first born, Prince George, is taken care of by Maria Borrallo, his full-time Spanish nanny.
Though the Duchess of Cambridge may be having troubles with her second pregnancy, this hasn't stopped her from choosing another patronage. E! Online reports, "Kensington Palace revealed today that the duchess has become a Royal Patron of the 1851 Trust, which is the charity branch of the United Kingdom team's bid to bring the America's Cup to Britain."
According to Middleton's personal statement, the patronage is a reflection of her interest in sailing and helping children build their confidence and improve their skills. She also shared that as a child she had enjoyed sailing. E! Online lists this as Middleton's ninth patronage after Action on Addiction, The Art Room, East Anglia's Children's Hospices, The National Portrait Gallery, The Natural History Museum, Place2Be, and SportsAid. Middleton was scheduled to attend a launch for the trust last week, but battling hyperemesis gravidarum has forced her to cancel.
Middleton's supposed first solo trip to Malta in September has also been cancelled, reports Inquisitr. With a tabloid publication as source, Inquisitr says that Middleton has chronic nausea that has her "vomiting up to 30 times each day, and her condition may be putting her unborn child at risk." Apparently because of her morning sicknesses she has moved back with Prince George to Bucklebury, Berkshire with her parents. The place helps her relax, and her mother, Carole, is helping her nanny take care of Prince George, a Mail Online source says.
