Tao, a member of the highly successful male idol group EXO, expressed his hopes that his group will no longer have a change in the members' lineup, KpopStarz reports.
The Chinese idol took to Instagram to voice out his wish for the group, which originally had 12 members. His Instagram post was a photo of diamond encrusted bracelet in a red Cartier box. It came with a message in Chinese and Korean that translates to "Carter Diamond. I hope the 10 of us will not fall apart and always stay together like this bracelet."
The post has already received 342,000 likes and more than 32,000 comments. The EXO member has over 2.5 million followers on Instagram.
Tao also called fans to watch his upcoming appearance on the SBS reality-documentary show "Laws of the Jungle - Solomon Islands."
The EXO member was recently involved in a controversy after news outlets showed a video of a man with striking resemblance to the singer, and was seen hugging nd kissing a woman while out with a group of friends.
SM Entertainment, EXO's record label, immediately responded, saying they will take legal actions against media outlets that "distorted reports" and those who spread "false and distorted information."
Meanwhile, EXO has already seen two members leave the group. Kris, now professionally known as Wu Yifan, left the group in May and filed a lawsuit against SM Entertainment. Luhan did the same just this month, filing a lawsuit to nullify his contract with the same agency.
Kris and Luhan used to be with Tao and fellow members Lay, Xiumin, and Chen in EXO's Mandarin-language sub-unit, EXO-M.
With the recent departures of EXO-M's two members, it remains unclear whether EXO will continue as EXO-K (six members) and EXO-M (four members), or just as a 10-member EXO.
Meanwhile, it was previously rumored that the controversial group will be having a comeback on the 25th. However, no official announcements were made yet.
