Major installment of the Assassin's Creed series, 'Assassin's Creed Unity', highlights the battles during the French Revolution and the journey of famous set of characters. What to know about the plot and characters before its release date?

The protagonist of the game -- Arno Dorian -- aims to continue his adventure in Paris during the revolution, set in 1798. The burden of his adoptive father's demise has been instil in him as he grows up.

Dorian will be played by Dan Jeanotte. He found his fame in theaters of Montreal and Toronto, Canada. As an expert voice improviser trained in the CFC Actors Conservatory, he is, nonetheless, the greatest choice of Ubisoft to portray the "dedicated" assassin.

Meanwhile, he will be romantically inclined with Elise de la Serre, played by Catherine Bérubé. The female protagonist has her mindset of hatred, as she investigates the criminal who killed her father. "She's got a quest in mind and she's not willing to divert from it at any cost," Bérubé described on their video preview. Furthermore, she claimed Elise's early life would be "playful" and "adventurous".

Basically, the two had become childhood friends after de la Serre's family adopted Dorian; and as they grow older, the "intimacy" between them has been unavoidable and their relationship has been inevitably romantic since then. "Arno and Elise grew up together and they were troublemakers," Jeanotte revealed.

The control of the story between the two is superfluous and Arno Victor Dorian pushes his limits just to seek vendetta for his Templar love interest's father.

In addition to the casts, Alex Ivanovici will be playing the role of Donatien Alphonse François de Sade or well known as Marquis de Sade. "He's a liberty man and a champion for freedom. [He's] not being hindered by morality," Ivanovici explains of his character. In history, de Sade was a famous aristocrat and advocate of libertine sexuality; and being thrown behind bars for 11 years in Paris.

His voice joins Brent Skagford, who voices over the role of Napoleon Bonaparte, and Bruce Dinsmore, who voices Maximilien de Robespierre.

Robespierre is "a bit of pedant, a bit of a show off; he's pretentious," Dinsmore described.

Meanwhile, Ubisoft's highly anticipated game composes of massive improvements from its prequel 'Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag' namely, graphics and wide range of weaponry.

PlayStation 4 consoles will be upgraded to 30fpe and the XBox One comes off with 900p. In addition, the weaponry consists of Arno's Phantom Blade and crossbow.
