"The Fappening" ends leaving celebrities shattered; Jennifer Lawrence, Apple Inc speaks up about the naked photo leak scandal

By

The intolerable leak of A-listed Hollywood celebrities' nude photos has seemed to find its abolishment. Can the countable victims of the labeled "The Fappening" rest their anxieties? What did Apple advise to iCloud users?

"Now, with nothing significant floating to the top in this long time, it seems like the well has run dry," an anonymous named NoNameFits posted on the famous subreddit -- fappeningdiscussion. "The main event is clearly over. Let's just bask in the likelihood that the dust will settle and celebs will get complacent again."

Basing on the statement written, the controversial leak of naked photos of celebrities including Rihanna, Cara Delevingne, Kim Kardashian, Kate Upton, Lindsay Clubine, Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence, and others, is rumored to have been stopped, respectively.

On the report of Daily Beast, several "The Fappening" victims include 'dozens of women' namely, "My Roommate" cast member Wailana Geisen, a sales assistant in Leonardo DiCaprio's "The Wolf of Wall Street", and an Instagram model. Despite the slow investigation of who had ignited the unforgivable naked photo leaks, many of the victims have assured that they will be seeking for justice.

'Hunger Games' superstar Jennifer Lawrence spoke to Vanity Fair and she divulged that being a public figure, she had felt shattered, for she thought she could've lost her career. In a strong stance, she said, "Just because I'm a public figure, just because I'm an actress, does not mean that I asked for this,

"It does not mean that it comes with the territory. It's my body, and it should be my choice, and the fact that it is not my choice is absolutely disgusting. I can't believe that we even live in that kind of world."

She revealed that whatever she had done, this includes crying and feeling low, the 'sex crime' has already damaged her, and the other victims, images. "It is a sexual violation. It's disgusting. The law needs to be changed, and we need to change. That's why these Web sites are responsible," she said.

Earlier, Boston Red Sox pitcher Clay Buchholz' wife, Lindsay Clubine, announced that she had already escalated the controversy to the FBI, and they are doing all they can to trace the suspect.

Meanwhile, for the sake of preventing these types of issues again, Apple Inc. has advised to use strong passwords and enable the two-step verification process. The company has announced that they are working "with law enforcement to identify the criminals involved."

We hope that "The Fappening" stops and that justice would prevail for the victims -- including celebrities or not -- of such naked photo leak scandal.
