The latest Schenzhen smartphone -- OnePlus One -- creates a massive suspense on all sonsumers who wish to buy the cheapest, but relatively competitive Android phone since it was firstly announced earlier this April.
Many of the Chinese manufacturers have completely gone wild after the vast exposure of OnePlus's astounding Cyanogen Mod Android base phone. Distributed for only sixteen territories, the rare smartphone could be one of the hardest phones consumers may have.
On a press conference held previously, the company has disclosed that people may now set their pre-orders for the said Android phone. This, basically, is a far cry positive from their previous stratagems of selling it on a limited access via invitations and lottery. Now, pre-orders are only available for an hour.
The company announced on their site, "Pre-orders will officially open on October 27 at 15:00 GMT (08:00 PST, 11:00 EST). During a one hour time window, anyone can place an order for the OnePlus One. All of our accessories will be sold at celebratory sale prices when added to your order. In fact, for this week only our latest collaboration the JBL E1+ Earphones will be available for $24.99 and will revert back to full price once pre-orders have ended."
Prior to this appalling announcement, the company insisted for several smartphone users -- not using their products, of course -- to destroy their phones and to pay $1 in exchange of luck to have one of 100 new OnePlus gadgets. On this side, the company affected many of their watchers, as they relatively have been subjective to their competitors, as reported by The Register.
The new smartphone comes off with 5.5 inch display, similarly with Apple's iPhone 6, and 13-megapixel camera, near to the amounts of Sony and Samsung's smartphones. However, the big difference is the price, as OnePlus One would be sold for $300 or £269 (without a contract).
OnePlus may have implanted their advertising and business tactics, but ther newest flagship phone is evidently cheap, but slightly competitive. Share your thoughts below.
