Netflix's hit television comedy-drama series, 'Orange is the New black' comes off with newcomers and promoted cast members. Moreover, the story plot between the lives of the women inside the federal prison gets more intense as Season 3 airs soon.
Previously, Pornstache -- played by Pablo Schreiber -- fans were shattered by the news of him leaving the squad. Schreiber would be featured on his newest role on HBO's "The Brink", which entails the dark comedy story of two brothers under the influence of political and government crises.
As he clarified the news, Schreiber divulged on TV Line that he would be replaced by his character's mom, who will be portrayed by the award-winning actress Mary Steenburgen.
"But his mother is making an appearance on Season 3. Mary Steenburgen has been cast as my mom. I'm not sure what she'll do that will advance the Pornstache plotline, but for now, Mendez is in prison, biding his time. Spoiler alert," he revealed.
In addition, Marsha Blake, who was known for her role on the 2013 film, "Stand Clear of the Closing Doors", will be joining the cast. She could be of a good influence for the show's popularity, indeed.
Series' recurring Joe Caputo, Gloria Mendoza, Lorna Morello, Poussey, Alex Vause and Black Cindy were all promoted to series regular. Vause, however, may continue her relationship with Piper. meanwhile, we saw Polly going with Larry in the season finale; what's next with them?
The production has already begun filming and Laura Prepon uploaded an image on Instagram stating the titles of the third season's episode list.
