"Chrisley Knows Best" Renewed for Season 3 and a Christmas Special, Todd Chrisley Repeats Once More: "I Am Not Gay"

Turns out Chrisley really did know best.

Because the USA reality show, "Chrisley Knows Best," has proved such a successful hit that USA has renewed it for a third season. The news comes by way of Reality TV World, who've announced that "Chrisley Knows Best" will return next year for another twelve episodes- all featuring every member of the Chrisley family: Todd Chrisley (the Chrisley who knows best), his wife Julie, their children Lindsey, Kyle, Chase, Savannah and Grayson, and their two grandchildren.

Reality TV World also has a statement from Chris McCumber, president of the USA Network, on taking on a third season of Chrisley family drama.

"Viewers have embraced the Chrisleys for their witty one-liners, laugh-out-loud moments and heartfelt everyday situations," said McCumber. "This family has made an indelible imprint on pop culture, and we're excited to continue the entertaining journey with them in season three."

UPI adds an important detail- not only will the Chrisleys return for season three, but they'll also have their very own Christmas special. The special will run for a half an hour at some point this December. Presumably, it will involve the Chrisley family, their children misbehaving and their father handing down sassy Southern wisdom. Santa may also be involved; it's not clear at this point.

Chrisley will most likely continue to be a presence at USA, if only for the fact that rumors about his sexuality continue to swirl online. The latest comes from In Touch Weekly, who got a statement from Todd Chrisley himself:

"I am not gay, nor have I ever been," said Chrisley to in Touch Weekly.

"I've never cared what others say about my sexuality," the reality star added. "I'd much rather you think I'm getting laid versus not getting laid!"

Words to live by.
