South Korean film "Cart" held a press conference on October 22 at the LOTTE Cinema in Seoul. EXO's lead vocalist, D.O who is debuting as a film actor in the movie, shared his experience acting and working with his "sunbaes" or seniors, Allkpop reports.

"It was really difficult when I first received the script for 'Cart.' Although I don't know much [about acting], the sunbaes and director helped me a lot. I want to say thank you to everyone who gave me the opportunity to work on this film," said the idol-actor.

D.O was also asked about how he felt working alongside seasoned actors. He responded "When I first started acting, I was really tense because I was acting with these great sunbaes. But because they would occasionally be by my side, take good care of me, and give me guidance, I filmed the movie very comfortably and had fun."

Meanwhile, it was reported that fans of D.O's group EXO allegedly sneaked into the said movie press conference pretending to be reporters.

According to MWave, the fans created fake media credentials and were allowed to attend the press preview and conference. While the event had heightened security due to the idol group's fans who are known to support every activity of EXO members, some of them were still able to gain access.

Reports claim that the press conference started later as scheduled because the security had to manage the situation involving the sneaking in of fans. Invited reporters and the movie's cast members had to wait.

"Cart" is a movie about a single mother employed at a large store who was wrongfully fired. The character decides to fight for her right as a worker and joins a union with other dismissed employees. D.O plays the character's son who is initially stoical and reserved and will eventually get closer to his loving mother as she fights for her job.

Other than D.O, the movie also stars Yum Jung Ah, Moon Jeong Hee, Kim Young Ae, Kim Kang Woo, Chun Woo Hee, Ji Woo, Hwang Jung Min.d

While this is D.O's debut in the big screen, this is not the idol's first time working as an actor. He recently starred in the TV drama "It's Okay, It's Love," where he received praises for his performance.

"Cart" will be released in South Korea on November 13, KpopStars reports. The movie, however, already premiered at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival earlier this year, as well as at the 2014 Busan International Film Festival earlier this month. "Cart" will also premiere in the United States at the 2014 Hawaii International Film Festival on November 6.
