After news of MBLAQ members Lee Joon and Thunder reportedly decided not to renew their contract with J.Tune Camp, music industry officials stated that the two might still remain with the five-member idol group despite their non-renewal of their contracts.

According to Daily Kpop News, South Korean regional TV station OBS came out with an exclusive report claiming many experts in the music industry that the Lee Joon and Thunder might stay with the group even after their contracts expire.

Daily Kpop News explained that while they are not anymore bound by a contract with J.Tune Camp, and decides to sign with another label, there is still a way for them to promote as a group.

According to the report, an official, said, "Even if one member decided to not renew his contract with the current agency as the contract expiration is coming near, he's unlikely to leave the group. If he renews his contract, the activities will naturally proceed, but even if the members belong to different agencies, they are likely to continue their individual activities along with MBLAQ activities,"

Allkpop reported on October 13 that Lee Joon decided not to renew his contract with J.Tune Camp as he allegedly wants to focus on his solo career as an actor. Immediately after the news broke, fellow member, Thunder, was also reported to doing the same thing as Lee Joon.

Idol group B2ST, who is known for their friendly rivalry with MBLAQ, said in a recent interview, "We are close with the MBLAQ members, but because it's a sensitive issue, we can't ask to speak more on it."

"We hope everything is resolved well," they added.
