Carrie Underwood Resents Husband Mike Fisher for Not Helping Her in Her Pregnancy? Is Trouble Brewing Between the Parents-to-be?

Carrie Underwood and hockey superstar husband Mike Fisher is the picture of the perfect parents-to-be. Amidst talks of baby room paint colors and their excitement of being first time parents, however, rumors say that there is trouble brewing between the two. Ironically enough, the cause is the same source of their supposed happiness.

It has been almost a year since tabloid reports claimed that Carrie is having trouble with her husband for refusing to stall her career for nine months to start a family. Fortunately, the marriag seemed to have been saved after the "How Great Thou Art" singer announced that she is expecting last September.

Yet barely two months after the big announcement, other rumors are now suggesting that the two are at odds again becaue of Mike's attitude around the house. In an issue of Star's magazine (via Classicalite) an insider said that the singer is starting to resent her husband who has been pretty "oblivious" about her needing help.

"Carrie has always done the cooking, cleaning, and the laundry... but it's harder for her to keep up, now that she's pregnant."

The country singer is reportedly tired all the time and constantly asks her husband to help out more. "It's gotten to the point where she's starting to resent him, and the stress isn't good for the baby."

Despite the rumors, the two are the picture of the perfect couple. Fashionnstyle quoted the singer saying that she feels "really good" and that she's been very lucky with all the pregnancy symptoms she's been having so far.

"It's still kind of weird to be honest. Sometimes I'll be with my husband and I'm like, 'I'm going to be a mom. You're going to be a dad. Like, is this real life?' But we're really excited."

Mike, on the other hand, is also the vision of the excited father-to-be. The "Predators" player opened up about his soon to be complete family (via the Ottawa Citizen) saying, "We're obviously really excited, can't wait for it to happen. It will be a cool stage of our lives."

When asked about the number of children that he wants to have, the hockey star laughed and gave a vague answer. According to him, nothing is sure yet at the moment but that the decision will depend on Carrie.

"Ask her, I'm good for whatever."
