Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert Raise $600,000 for Wayward Puppies, Fend Off Divorce Rumors

By

Blake Shelton's got more than just "The Voice" and a string of country hits going for him- the guy's not bad at fundraising, either. Shelton and his wife, fellow country star Miranda Lambert, made headlines recently when they rustled up more than $600,000 for their favorite charity, Cause for the Paws. As you can probably tell, it's a charity for pets- and more specifically, animal shelters.

Enstars has a quote from Lambert on the moneypile they gathered for wayward animals.

"I always have a great time in Vegas, but being able to save dogs along the way was probably the best," she said during the charity event.

Typically, Cause for the Paws does its thing in Texas, but for this event, Lambert moved the charity over to Las Vegas.

"Getting to do what I love and help the cause that's closest to my heart, and to do it in Vegas, it doesn't get any better," said Lambert. "With the money raised, I am looking forward to seeing lots of dogs find loving forever homes through adoption."

But not all might be well between Lambert and her singing hubby. According to the Examiner, their marriage might not be on the best terms- and all because of the industry that they are both so committed to. Apparently, the singers are both so into their own careers that their marriage is starting to falter.

But then, according to an earlier piece in Enstars, rumors are always flying about the couple- and they're usually pretty good at shutting them down. Some of the more ridiculous rumors- that they're having triplets, that they're on drugs, and that they're going through a $100 million divorce.

Presumably, Shelton and Lambert will knock this newest rumor away in the same fashion.
